Colored PPF is paint protection film that comes in color instead of clear. You change the way the car looks and you protect the paint underneath, all at once. If you want a new color but you're not willing to drive around with an unprotected front end, this is how you do it.
Regular PPF is clear and you never notice it. Colored PPF you do notice, because it changes the color of the car. It's still the same thick, self-healing film that eats rock chips and road rash, so you're protecting the factory paint while you restyle it. Change your mind down the road and it comes off clean, with the original color untouched.
A vinyl wrap is the cheaper way to change color, and if looks are all you're after, it does the job. Colored PPF costs more because it's a thicker, self-healing film that actually protects the paint. For a daily driver or a car you're keeping a while, that protection is worth paying for. For a quick, budget color change, a wrap still makes sense.
We do colored PPF out of our Madison studio for Huntsville and the rest of North Alabama, partial or full coverage. Full-color changes and blacked-out front ends are what people ask for most. Give us a call and we'll go over the colors we can get and what holds up in the Alabama sun.

It's paint protection film that comes in a color instead of clear. It changes the look of your car and still protects the factory paint with a thick, self-healing layer, so you get a new color and rock-chip protection out of one film. It also comes off clean if you ever want the original paint back.
Depends what you want out of it. A wrap is cheaper and fine for a pure color change. Colored PPF costs more, but it actually protects the paint too, since it's a thicker, self-healing film. For a daily driver or a car you're keeping, colored PPF is usually worth the difference.
