What to Look For in a Protection Shop's Reviews
Star ratings tell you very little in this trade, because almost every shop sits somewhere between 4.7 and 5.0. What is worth reading is how old the reviews are. Film and coatings fail slowly, so a review written the week of collection only tells you the car looked good in the sun that day. The ones worth weight are the follow-ups written a year or two later, after a few Alabama summers and a few hundred washes.
The same goes for specifics. A review that names the vehicle, the service and what the finish looks like now is doing real work. One that says great service, highly recommend is not. When you read ours, and when you read any other shop's, skip straight to the long ones.
