Original Auto Styling is a certified GYEON installer in Madison, AL. Long-lasting hydrophobic protection, mirror-like gloss, and UV defense — backed by a 5-year or lifetime warranty. Serving all of North Alabama.
Original Auto Styling brings certified GYEON ceramic coating installation to Madison and Huntsville, Alabama. Our shop at 400 Slaughter Rd is a controlled environment specifically set up for proper coating application and curing — unlike mobile services or shops that coat in open bays.
Alabama's climate is hard on paint. Summer UV exposure, humidity, road chemicals, lovebugs, tree sap, and bird droppings all attack your clear coat year-round. GYEON ceramic coating creates a nano-crystalline quartz layer on your paint that repels water, blocks UV, resists chemical etching, and adds deep, mirror-like gloss — all from a single professional application.
Every ceramic coating installation at Original Auto Styling begins with a thorough paint decontamination and paint correction process. We remove swirls, scratches, and oxidation before applying any coating. Coating over defects locks them in forever — so we do it right from the start.

A professionally applied ceramic coating in Alabama typically lasts 5 years (Premium Protection package) to a lifetime (Elite Protection with Infinite Warranty). Alabama's intense UV exposure and heat make multi-layer professional-grade coatings — like those applied by Original Auto Styling — essential for durability. Consumer-grade coatings sold at auto parts stores last 6to12 months at best.
GYEON is a premium Korean ceramic coating brand used by professional installers worldwide. It forms a nano-crystalline quartz matrix on your paint that creates a hydrophobic, UV-resistant, scratch-resistant surface. Original Auto Styling is a certified GYEON installer serving Madison, Huntsville, and all of North Alabama.
Yes. Wax lasts 1to3 months. Paint sealants last 6to12 months. Professional ceramic coating from Original Auto Styling lasts 5 years to a lifetime with proper maintenance. It also adds measurably higher gloss, stronger chemical resistance, and superior hydrophobic properties that wax cannot match.
Ceramic coating takes 1to3 days depending on the package and the vehicle's paint condition. Paint correction (removing swirls and scratches before coating) adds time but is essential for a flawless result. We never rush — your vehicle stays in our controlled environment until the coating is fully cured.
No. Ceramic coating is a liquid nano-quartz coating that bonds to your clear coat and adds a hydrophobic, UV-resistant surface that amplifies gloss and resists chemical staining. PPF (paint protection film) is a physical urethane film applied over your paint that absorbs rock chips and impacts. Ceramic coating defends against chemical and UV damage. PPF defends against physical damage. For maximum protection, many customers install both — PPF on impact-prone areas, ceramic coating over the whole vehicle.
Ceramic coating adds meaningful scratch resistance to your paint, but it is not bulletproof and it will not stop rock chips. What it does stop is the light wash-induced swirls and marring that come from improper drying, automatic car washes, and brushing against the paint. For impact damage like stones and road debris, paint protection film (PPF) is the right tool. They work well together.
In nearly every case, yes — and it is the most important step. Ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Apply it over swirls, scratches, water spots, or oxidation and you've sealed those flaws in for 5 years or longer. Original Auto Styling performs a paint inspection on every vehicle and recommends the level of correction needed (single-stage polish, two-stage, or full multi-stage) so the coating goes over a flawless surface. We do not coat over neglected paint.
Wait 7 days after install before the first wash. After that: hand wash or touchless automatic wash only — no brush car washes. Use a pH-neutral car shampoo and a clean, soft microfiber mitt. Avoid washing in direct sunlight. Dry with a clean microfiber towel. Bring the vehicle in for an annual maintenance wash to refresh the topper layer and keep the coating performing at peak. With this routine, our 5-year coatings finish year five looking like they did at year one.
