GYEON ceramic coating for Florence and the Shoals, applied at our Madison studio an hour east. From $699, or $1,699 with full paint correction.
Florence is an hour away and a ceramic coating is a two to three day job, so the first thing to be straight about is the logistics rather than the product. This is not a service you drive over for and wait on. Correction is measured in hours per panel and the coating needs controlled cure time afterwards, which means leaving the vehicle with us and arranging to collect it. If that does not work for you, we would rather say so now than have you discover it on the day.
If it does work, the second thing worth doing is making the trip carry more than one job. We install paint protection film, ceramic coating, window tint and vinyl wrap in the same building, in the right order, with one set of hands responsible for how the edges line up. For a Shoals customer that turns what would be several trips to several shops into one drop-off. If you are thinking about more than one of those, tell us when you book so we schedule the days as a block.
On the coating itself, the assessment has to happen in person and it is not a formality. A coating is optically clear and lasts for years, so it seals in whatever is in the paint when it goes on. We put the car under dedicated swirl lighting with you standing there and show you what is actually in the finish. Our pricing follows from that: $699 where the paint does not need correcting, $1,699 where it needs full correction underneath. If your paint is genuinely clean you pay the lower number, and we will tell you that even though it is the smaller sale.
What the coating does for a Shoals vehicle is mostly about sun and water. Long open runs on US-72 with a lot of west-facing afternoon driving, and cars that park outside rather than in decks, means high UV exposure. Coated paint resists that far better than bare clear coat, and it resists the hard water spotting that comes from washing in direct sun, which is what most people are actually fighting.
One practical note for an out-of-town customer: coatings do not usually fail from age, they fail from bad washing. Brush washes and dish soap kill them. If you are an hour away and cannot bring the car back for maintenance easily, ask us at handover for the specific wash routine to use at home, and we will give you something you can actually follow rather than a generic leaflet.

No, and we would rather be honest about it. Correction and coating is a two to three day job because the correction is measured in hours per panel and the coating needs controlled cure time before the vehicle goes back into Alabama weather. It is a drop-off. Plan the collection when you book.
Only if what you want is the correction done properly underneath it, and that is the honest framing. A coating applied over swirled paint locks those swirls in for years, so the value is in the preparation rather than the product. If you can find that closer, take it. If you are coming to us, make the trip carry more than one job.
$699 for the coating where the paint does not need correcting and $1,699 with full paint correction first, with vehicle size moving the number. We assess in person under swirl lighting before quoting, and if your paint is genuinely clean you pay the lower figure.
Yes, and for an hour's drive it usually makes sense. We install PPF, coating, tint and wrap in one building, and the order matters, film first and coating over the top. Tell us everything you want when you book and we will schedule it as a single block of days rather than separate visits.
Ask us at handover and we will give you the specific routine for your coating rather than a generic leaflet. The short version is a two-bucket hand wash or a proper touchless setup, pH-neutral soap, no brush washes, no dish soap, and dry with clean microfibre or a filtered blower. Coatings fail from bad washing far more often than from age.
